In plain English
BPC-157 is studied as a healing helper. In animal studies, it helped injured tendons, muscles, the gut and nerves repair themselves faster.
BPC-157 comes from a protein your stomach makes to protect itself. In studies, it seems to send more blood to injured spots by helping new blood vessels grow. More blood flow brings the materials the body uses to repair damage.
Good to know
Every batch is tested by an outside lab, and the report is on our Lab Results page. Sold for laboratory research only. Full details: Shipping Policy.
Time in the Body
~4 hours
Common Dose
250–500 mcg per day
How It Is Given
Injection under the skin (or into the muscle near the injury)
How Often
Once or twice daily
BPC-157 seems to work in a few ways. It may help tendons respond better to growth hormone. It also interacts with growth hormone signals in cells. It helps the body grow new blood vessels, which bring blood to injured areas. It also affects nitric oxide, which helps blood flow, and brain chemicals like dopamine and serotonin. It appears to protect the stomach from damage caused by pain relievers like ibuprofen (NSAIDs), and it helps protect cells.
Notes
10 mg vial — mix with 2 mL bac water → 5 mg/mL (5 units = 250 mcg, 10 units = 500 mcg on a U-100 syringe). For an injury in one spot, researchers often inject near that spot. A typical cycle is 4–8 weeks (up to 12 for long-lasting problems), then 2–4 weeks off.
Lots of animal research. It reached Phase II human trials for inflammatory bowel disease (Pliva). It is not approved to treat people.
